The following Terms and Conditions for booking a tour with us contain important information. Please read them carefully as they represent a binding contract between us; Wakanki Explorer and You; the Signatory, for the travel services provided by Wakanki Explorer . This document establishes the bases for a commercial relationship between you, the client, and Wakanki Explorer.
For trips to Machu Picchu the Electronic Ticket issued allows only the entrance to the Inca city of Machu Picchu and / or some of its mountains, depending on the type of ticket purchased. Does not include any type of transportation or guiding service. The purchase of tours is in Dollars and it's subject to change without notice
Change of dates is not possible after a permit has been processed. Permits for Machu Picchu and Inca Trail are non-transferable nor refundable Permits. The deposit will be forfeited. Please note that we do this because we are prohibited to re-sell your spot after you have canceled.
Wakanki Explorer does not take responsibility for additional costs due to unfavorable weather conditions, natural catastrophes, strikes, accidents, illness, injury, loss of personal items, etc. It is the client’s responsibility to carry Travel Insurance to cover these types of events. We reserve the right to modify or cancel the program due to any of the unforeseen conditions listed above.
Please note that no reimbursements are given when cancellations occur or for any unused services. Wakanki Explorer will do everything possible to assure a safe and enjoyable trip but we will not accept any responsibility for damages, injuries, losses, or expenses due to delays, for any cause whatsoever, this applies to any person or property in connection with any service we or our intermediaries provide, which result directly or indirectly from acts of God or forces mayor.
Full Travel Insurance is considered mandatory, which includes cover, under most circumstances, against the loss of deposit or cancellation charges. Please note that no reimbursements are given when cancellations occur or for any unused services.
Travel Insurance is strongly recommended. You must inform Wakanki Explorer of any medical problems or allergies you may have. You must be in good physical health and, if your health is in doubt, you must consult a doctor. If you are over the age of 70, you will need to provide us with a medical certificate of good health.
You are responsible for evaluating whether a Tour is right for you. You should consult your doctor to confirm your fitness to travel and participate in planned activities. You should ask your doctor for advice on vaccinations and medical precautions. The company does not provide medical advice. It is your responsibility to assess the risks and requirements of each aspect of the trip based on your particular circumstances, limitations, physical condition, and medical requirements.
Wakanki Explorer reserves the right to deny you permission to travel or participate in any aspect of a trip at any time and at your own risk if the company determines that your physical or mental condition renders you unable to travel or represents a danger to himself or for others.
Wakanki Explorer does not share your private information with any government or private agency that is not involved in providing you with the tourist services requested by you.
Our system accepts several credit and debit cards and they are the only accepted cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Diners Club. Personal checks, phone orders, wire transfers and any other payment method are not accepted.
A 5% card fee will be added to all credit or debit card payments, this is for the pre-payment (booking deposit) or your remaining balance of your tours.
Peru’s credit card payment systems are fairly new, expensive, and unreliable. Payments made in cash must be completed at least two days prior to the start of your tour. Cash payments are encouraged to maximize our operational capabilities. We understand that you may feel uncomfortable carrying large sums of cash, but in Peru, almost all payments, be it food, transportation, and labor, are made in cash.
The terms of cancellations are defined by the advance notice with which we are notified. No matter the cause, cancellations have different penalties that you «our client» agree to abide by.
